EP.53 · With the veil closing in, the others urge Nina to leave before it traps them all, insisting James would never want them to risk their lives. Nina refuses to abandon her brother again, but James tells her she is not losing him and promises he will always watch over his “little bird.” The group barely escapes, and while Nina grieves that she could not save him, her friends remind her she gave him peace, and she says a tearful goodbye to James.
