EP.50 · In the fallout of Michel's fury, Ahmad says he blames no one and considers his sacrifice worth it, because he could never let Mary stay miserable for the rest of her life, even if it costs him his career. He offers his thanks for everything as he goes. Mary, meanwhile, breaks down, saying she never wanted her story with Michel to end this way and feels ashamed for letting him down, and she is met with tender comfort.
