EP.39 · Gabriel's mother offers Mary a deal: leave the family and Gabriel forever, and in return she will pay all her mother's medical bills plus one million dollars. She presses Mary to decide on the spot, using her mother's critical condition as leverage. Mary refuses, saying what she has with Gabriel is special, and the enraged mother grabs her. Gabriel storms in to stop it, and Mary wonders aloud whether the whole thing was a setup.
