EP.36 · Estelle realizes that if Gabriel marries Mary, neither she nor his mother will get anything, and says she has a way to turn things around but will reveal it later. She warns that Jonas is a snag because he claims to be in love with her. The mother confronts Jonas, who says he is sick of living in Gabriel's shadow, and she reminds him that is exactly why they started all this. The story then flashes back to Jonas weeping over his father's recent death while his mother tells him to stop the theatrics.
