EP.31 · The creature taunts Sima with an impossible choice: change the future and make it worse, or ignore her visions and let a tragedy like her sister's happen. Just as it closes in, the spirit of her grandmother, Salwa Shams, appears and orders it to leave her granddaughter alone, and it retreats for now. Salwa vows that even though Mary abandoned the family gift, she will never abandon Mary or Sima, and cheerfully confirms she is very much dead.
