EP.51 · Sam shows up at Betty's apartment with dinner, even though she asked for time alone, because Janice is on the loose. Betty is stunned to learn Janice was caught at the bus station and then escaped. When Sam starts to say something personal, Betty assumes it is about them and gently says she cares for him but is not ready. Instead, she tells Sam what she has long wanted to say: his father loved him very much and truly wanted to make amends.
