She protests that she is not the enemy and is tired of being treated like the problem, and Andrew admits he knows that but fears Ryan will hurt anyone to get to him. When Evelyn says she is not afraid, Andrew confesses that he is, because he cannot lose anyone else, just as he senses someone has arrived outside.
